Dr. Taylor Paziuk is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon, and Dr. Matthew Davies is a board-certified neurosurgeon with fellowship training in spinal deformity and spinal oncology. Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
Surgical procedures that use smaller incisions and specialized instrumentation to access the spine with less disruption to surrounding tissue. Dr. Paziuk’s surgical practice focuses on minimally invasive techniques for appropriate candidates across a range of spine conditions.
Adult Spinal Deformity Correction
Surgical and non-surgical management of adult spinal deformity, including scoliosis and other structural conditions affecting spinal alignment. Both Dr. Paziuk and Dr. Davies hold fellowship training in spinal deformity.
Spine Trauma
Evaluation and surgical treatment of spine injuries resulting from falls, accidents, or other acute trauma affecting the cervical, thoracic, or lumbar spine. Dr. Paziuk specializes in spine trauma as a primary focus of his practice.

Pain Management
Non-surgical management of neck and back pain through injection therapy, oral medications, and physical therapy referrals. Our spine team evaluates each patient and recommends non-operative management when it is the appropriate path before considering surgical intervention.
Non-Surgical Treatment
Not every spine condition requires surgery. Physical therapy, activity modification, and conservative management are part of the treatment options our spine specialists discuss with patients based on their diagnosis and how symptoms have responded to prior care.
Minimally Invasive SI-Joint Fusion in Duluth, MN
The sacroiliac joint connects the lower spine to the pelvis and can be a source of lower back, buttock, and leg pain when injured or degenerated. For patients whose SI joint pain has not responded to physical therapy or injection therapy, minimally invasive SI joint fusion is a surgical option.
