Accounting Manager – Duluth
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to support our growing orthopedic practice. As our Accounting manager, you’ll contribute to the overall financial management of the organization. In this role, you’ll play a key part in overseeing financial operations, guiding best practices, and supporting leadership with meaningful financial insights.
This position’s hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm CT. This will report to our Duluth location with occasional expectations of travel amongst the outreach clinical sites in the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for the orthopedic practice, each clinic site, imaging services, therapy departments, DME operations, and the ASC.
- Monitor cash flow, revenue streams (clinic visits, surgeries, therapy, imaging, injections, DME), and expense trends by location; provide orthopedic-specific financial insights to leadership.
- Verify vendor invoices—including implants, surgical supplies, medications, radiology equipment, and therapy supplies—and allocate costs to correct orthopedic service lines.
- Reconcile payroll records, benefits, call pay, productivity-based compensation, and ASC provider arrangements.
- Collaborate with billing teams or third-party billers to ensure accurate coding and charge capture for orthopedic services
- Review and reconcile daily deposit logs, insurance payments, and adjustments by site/service line.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare financial standards, ASC-specific regulations, orthopedic documentation requirements, tax laws, and internal controls.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, including ASC accreditation-related financial audits.
- Analyze cost drivers such as implant costs, surgical supply utilization, therapy staffing, and radiology equipment maintenance.
- Assist in capital expenditure planning and ROI analysis for orthopedic equipment (e.g., X-ray machines, MRI, arthroscopy towers, surgical instruments).
- Prepare tax documentation or collaborate with external tax professionals for multi-site orthopedic and ASC operations.
- Ensure timely filing of sales tax, payroll tax, and other required regulatory reports.
- Maintain organized financial records for year-end audits and tax filings across all orthopedic entities.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience; previous orthopedic practice, ASC, or multi-site healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of GAAP, healthcare accounting, orthopedic billing practices, and ASC financial workflows.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and orthopedic EHR/PM/ASC systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with orthopedic clinic managers, therapy and imaging leads, ASC administrators, and physicians.

Physical Therapist – Duluth
WWe are looking for a detail-oriented full time Physical Therapist to support our growing orthopedic practice. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with a variety of Orthopedic Sub-Specialties to include General Ortho, Foot & Ankle, Hand, Total Joints, and Sports Medicine. Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will assess, plan, and implement a rehabilitation program that improves mobility, relieves pain, increases strength, and decreases or prevents deformity in patients suffering from disease or injury. You will be responsible for creating individually designed treatment programs to maintain or improve ability to perform functional activities in their daily lives, alleviate pain, and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PT program
- Must be licensed by the State of MN and in good standing with the State licensing board
- Must have knowledge of the PT evaluation and treatment techniques needed to diagnose and treat injuries, diseases, and deformities.
- Should be able to use logic and reasoning when assessing conditions and developing appropriate treatment plans.
- Physical ability to assist patients with transfers, performing treatment techniques, and hand therapeutic treatment equipment
- Demonstrated ability to give/take direction and constructive feedback
- Excellent written, computer, and oral communication skills
- Maintain professional and courteous demeanor interacting with patients and staff
- Solid problem-solving skills related to the position

- Provide custom and prefabricated orthotics/braces for therapy patients

Essential Functions:
Comply with the working and physical requirements that require a full range of body motion including, but not limited to, bending, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, pushing and pulling. This position requires lifting as much as 50 pounds with occasional lifting and/or carrying objects weighing 100 pounds or more.
Initial Evaluation
- Completes a thorough chart review and patient history
- Tests and measures patient’s strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional ability, and records findings to develop an individual treatment plan.
- Follows OAD physician’s evaluation orders and communicates with physician’s regarding the patient’s treatment plan.
Treatment Intervention and Planning
- Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum outcome
- Administers treatments involving application of physical agents
- Follow proper body mechanics and procedures for lifting/moving patients
- Provide patients with a home exercise program
- Instructs, motivates, and assists patient to perform various physical activities
Documentation and Clinical duties
- Review patient charts for up-coming therapy appointments
- Records treatment, response, and progress in patient’s electronic chart
- Fields phone calls from patients and patient representatives in regard to therapy care
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA, OSHA and other State or Federal regulations
- Assists in ordering therapy supplies/equipment as needed
