Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner
Orthopedic Associates of Duluth, PA is currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice. Our PAs and NPs enjoy practicing within a variety of Orthopedic Sub-Specialties to include General Ortho, Foot & Ankle, Hand, Total Joints, and Sports Medicine. The practice opportunities include a blend of clinic and hospital/operating room time. The PAs and NPs at Orthopaedic Associates of Duluth, PA enjoy the opportunity to maintain a level of autonomy in their practice while functioning as part of a team.

- The department has 12 Physicians, 8 PAs
- The ideal candidate will be someone who has a background working in Orthopedics, Surgery and Trauma.
- Anticipated work schedule: Days Monday – Friday 40 Hour Work Week
- Clinic Work = 40% Hospital/Surgery Center Work = 60%
- Call Rotation = 1:8
- Estimated Office patients per day = 35 between the PA and the MD
- Estimated procedures per day = 5

CMA/LPN (Hibbing & Virginia, MN)
We are looking for a warm and friendly CMA/LPN to support our busy healthcare team. As our Medical Assistant, you’ll contribute to the overall patient experience at your organization by ensuring our patients are taken care of in a timely, professional and courteous manner. This position’s hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm CT. This position is expected to travel between our two locations in Virginia, MN, and Hibbing, MN, as part of the job description.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Rooming patients
- Casting/Splinting/Brace Fitting
- Ability to be standing for long periods of time
- Surgical Dressing Changes
- Clinical Decision Making
- Bandaging
- Preparing Injections
- Suture/staple removal
- Documenting patient information
- Assisting physicians
- Additional duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a busy and fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficient computer skills involving data entry
3+ years of experience in the orthopedic healthcare industry preferred, but not required
Certified Medical Assistant or LPN License (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
