HR Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities
- May oversee scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of staff.
- May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand the skills and competencies required for open positions.
- Conduct or coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding process with new hire orientation and preparation of onboarding materials.
- Organize 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins with new hires.
Employee Relations & Development
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
- Manage conflict resolution, investigations, and employee support with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Assist in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and other sensitive personnel matters.
- Support employee recognition initiatives and foster a culture of respect and inclusion.
- Guide managers through performance evaluations and help develop staff training and coaching opportunities.
- Maintain and improve the performance review process.
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Administer and improve awareness of health, retirement, and supplemental benefits.
- Manage open enrollment and coordinate benefits changes with brokers and insurance providers.
- Oversee leave programs including FMLA and other accommodations.
Compliance, Payroll & HR Operations
- Manage payroll operations and support 1099 filing
- Maintain up-to-date employee records, including licenses and certifications.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare-specific employment regulations, including all benefit audits and 5500 filings.
- Support the credentialing and privileging process for providers.
- Manage, track and document mandatory and optional employee trainings.
- Review and update HR policies and practices to maintain compliance and support organizational growth.
- Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and legal changes affecting the workplace.
- Safety committee involvement.
- Filing EEO-1 when required
- Additional duties as assigned by upper management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience (healthcare background preferred).
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
- Knowledge of employment laws and healthcare compliance regulations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Demonstrates adaptability and proactively champions progressive change to improve processes, enhance team performance, and support organizational growth.

Patient Registration Specialist
The Patient Registration Specialist will greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, process referrals, process schedule requests, and complete chart prep for scheduled appointments. This position will be supporting our first floor clinic, three days per week, in the Northland Medical Building, and also supporting our patient scheduling call center on our forth floor clinic, two days per week.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Welcomes patients, staff and visitors to the medical office by greeting patients and visitors in person and on the telephone and answering inquiries or referring questions to other staff members.
- Schedules appointments for the physicians and physician assistants, including physical therapists, to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time and most effective use of examining and treatment rooms. Prepares a daily schedule of examinations for each provider.
- Update patient demographics
- Enter patient insurances accurately
- Retrieves patient files from desktop, checks for correct sequence of papers, inserts new patient records, and places files in sequence for physician examination or treatment.
- Assists ill or distraught patients as necessary. Telephone transport or family members when necessary for transportation.
- Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Contacting patient same day to let them know referral has been received, schedule during this call
- Chart Management: Notes in chart to document patient communication/details regarding patient updates
- Be a positive addition and team player to our growing team, helping cross cover positions that are relevant.
- Helping with parking validations
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 3+ years of customer service experience, with a focus on healthcare industry preferred, but not required
- Personality and demeanor to deal with the public and assist patients
- Basic office skills such as typing and filing.
- Good multitasking, organizational, and phone skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Punctual with attendance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficient computer skills involving word processing and data entry
Education and Experience:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Schedule: 8 hour shift (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm)
