Medical Assistant CMA/LPN – Hibbing & Virginia, MN
We are looking for a warm and friendly CMA/LPN to support our busy healthcare team. As our Medical Assistant, you’ll contribute to the overall patient experience at your organization by ensuring our patients are taken care of in a timely, professional and courteous manner. This position’s hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm CT. This position is expected to travel between our outreach clinic locations in Virginia, Grand Rapids, and Hibbing, Minnesota.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Rooming patients
- Casting/Splinting/Brace Fitting
- Ability to be standing for long periods of time
- Surgical Dressing Changes
- Clinical Decision Making
- Bandaging
- Preparing Injections
- Suture/staple removal
- Documenting patient information
- Assisting physicians
- Additional duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficient computer skills involving data entry
- 3+ years of experience in the orthopedic healthcare industry preferred, but not required
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or LPN License (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)

It is located in the Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, Grand Rapids, MN but will work for Orthopaedic Associates!
