April 23, 2015

Orthopaedic Associates of Duluth is expanding their orthopaedic services in Hibbing with the addition of a new clinic, which will open on May 1.

The new office, located at 1101 E. 37th St., in the Mesabi Mall, Hibbing, Minnesota., offers Hibbing area patients a convenient location to choose when seeking care for sports or other injuries, joint pain, and foot and ankle issues.
Three board-certified orthopaedic surgeons, Dr. William F. Schnell, Dr. Joshua J. Rother and Dr. Samuel P. Harms, along with board-certified foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. Ryan R. Reinking, will be available to patients from Hibbing and the surrounding area who are seeking care. Dr. Harms is also board-certified in sports medicine.

“We have been treating patients in Hibbing for several years, so opening our own clinic, with more room for patient care, is a natural move,” Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Samuel Harms explained. “We want to make the healing process as smooth as possible for our patients.”

The practice has shown impressive growth in recent years, adding surgeons and therapists to expand its specialties, which include total joint replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, sports medicine, arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, foot surgery, hand surgery, general orthopaedics and fracture care.

Serving the Northland since 1969, Orthopaedic Associates offers a complete range of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation services with ten surgeons and a team of professionally-trained staff in the Duluth and Hibbing Clinics, and physical and occupational therapists in Duluth and Hermantown.
